Lenore Flynn
has been presenting stress management classes, teaching mindfulness practice and speaking to groups in hospitals and wellness centers since 1993. She has a Masters Degree in Complementary Therapies. She completed an internship at the Stress Reduction and Relaxation Program at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in 1994 under the direction of Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn. Lenore is a Registered Nurse with over 40 years of nursing experience including being a hospice educator and serving on a local hospital ethics committee.
She believes that mindfulness practice and meditation together with your own personal beliefs can create a path leading you to peace, happiness and healing.
Lenore has been featured on TV with WMHT's HealthLink and she has written about mindfulness for the Albany Times Union Holistic Health Blog . Lenore attended the Mind and Life Summer Research Institute in June 2011 as a Senior Investigator. She is a certified Appreciative Inquiry facilitator, a trained MB-EAT (Mindfulness Based Eating Awareness) facilitator, Dignity Therapist, Compassion Fatigue Professional, grief counselor and has completed a certificate program in contemplative end of life care. Lenore is an instructor at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Maria College in Albany.
 She and Steve have taught mindfulness in research projects at both SUNY Albany and St. Peter's Hospital.
 
Steve Flynn
has been presenting stress management classes since 1997 and facilitating groups focused on addiction since  1998. He has a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and he completed an internship at the Albany VA Chemical Dependency Program. Steve is a Vietnam veteran.

He completed an internship at the Stress Reduction and Relaxation Program at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center under the direction of Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn. Steve has completed training in facilitation of Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention.
